How to Use the AI Warrior Cat Generator

The AI warrior cat generator turns the cat you designed into a painted portrait. It works with the look you already chose, so your cat comes out looking like your cat, just in a new art style. Here's how it works:

  1. Design your cat first. Build your cat in the warrior cat oc maker. Pick a base color, a pattern, white markings, eye colors (odd eyes are allowed) and any features, like a scar, a torn ear, a short tail or long fur.
  2. Bring it here. Your design comes along with you, so you don't have to set it up again.
  3. Sign in. AI features need an account, and sign-in is with Google only. The free tools never need one.
  4. Pick a style. Choose Storybook, Watercolor, Anime or Pixel.
  5. Make the portrait. A portrait costs 2 credits and takes about a minute. If something goes wrong and the picture fails, your credits come back on their own.
  6. Keep it. Download your portrait as a PNG, or save the cat and its portrait to My cats. You can keep up to 100 saved cats there.

Credits come in one-time packs. Kit is $2.99 for 40 credits, Warrior is $4.99 for 80, and Leader is $9.99 for 200. They never expire, there is no subscription, and you can get a refund for unused credits within 14 days. Checkout runs on Waffo, and this site never sees your card.

What Makes a Good Portrait

The AI paints from your design, so a good portrait starts with a good cat. Here are a few tips.

Give your cat one standout detail

Cats are easier to recognize when one thing pops. That might be bright odd eyes, a big white blaze, a torn ear or a fluffy long coat. One strong detail makes your portrait feel like a real character instead of just any cat.

Match the style to the mood

Each style tells a different kind of story:

  • Storybook feels warm and cozy, like a picture in a chapter book.
  • Watercolor is soft and dreamy, great for gentle cats and misty scenes.
  • Anime is bold and bright, with lots of energy.
  • Pixel looks like a retro video game sprite, which is fun for game-style roleplays.

Keep it original

Every portrait is an original fan character. The AI is told not to copy official book covers, art or characters, and nothing violent, bloody or scary is made. Your cat should look like itself, not like a cat from the books. This is a fan-made tool, not affiliated with Erin Hunter, HarperCollins or the Warriors series.

Ideas for Using Your Portrait

  • Make a character sheet. Put your portrait next to your cat's name, Clan and rank. Need a name first? Try the warrior cat name generator.
  • Write about how they look. Turn your cat's coat into a book-style sentence with the fur description generator warrior cats tool.
  • Give them a past. Use the warrior cat backstory generator to write a short story about where your cat came from. The art page also has a quick backstory that only needs a Clan.
  • Fill out a Clan. Build a whole Clan with the warrior cat clan generator, then paint portraits of the leader, the deputy and your favorite warriors.
  • Start a story. Pair your portrait with a prophecy from the warrior cats prophecy generator and make it the cover of your fan fiction.
  • Profile pictures. Use your portrait as an avatar in roleplay groups.

What you make is yours to use in fan fiction, roleplay, art and school projects.

Example Cats

Here are a few cat ideas, described in words, with the style that might suit each one:

  • Thornmist: a long-haired pale gray cat with a white chest, soft blue eyes and a short tail. Watercolor fits this gentle, quiet cat, with soft edges that look like morning fog.
  • Cinderblaze: a ginger mackerel tabby with white paws, a scar across the nose and bright green eyes. Anime suits a bold, fiery cat like this one, with strong lines and lots of color.
  • Pebbleleap: a cream point cat with dark ears and tail, one amber eye and one blue eye, and a torn ear. Storybook gives this cat a warm, adventurous look, while Pixel turns it into a tiny game hero.

Try painting the same cat in two different styles. You might be surprised how much a style changes the feel of a character. If you want more cats to paint, the warrior cat names list is full of ideas to name your next design.
